If you login to the customer site at:

http://customers.alfresco.com/

Go to Company Home > Downloads > 2.1 Releases > Licence Files and download the enterprise-network-customer-unlimited.lic (I think, I'm not sure what the difference in between it and the enterprise-network-unlimited.lic).

Copy it to the licences folder in your extensions directory alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/extension/licences for us.

Thanks for the suggestion Steve. I am not using the community version of Alfresco.

I ran into this problem and the above instructions I think are wrong. The license file should go in:

/alfresco/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension/license‍

There should be a howToInstallLicense.txt file in that directory.
